Lots going on with in today’s taste of country music news.  Lady Antebellum will be making their debut on “Saturday Night Live” tomorrow night.  Hosting the show will be Melissa McCarthy of “Mike and Molly” as well as the movie “Bridesmaids.”

A Facebook page has been created in honor of Sugarland.  More specifically to try and get the duo to be the halftime entertainment at the Super Bowl this year.  The page is called “We Want Sugarland for Superbowl 2012.”  So be sure to check that out if you liked to support that very important page.

In another sports/ country related story, Scotty McCreery is busy tweeting about baseball. He tweeted Wednesday saying it was a sad night for both boston and braves fans.  Scotty is on tap to sing the “Star Spangled Banner” before game one of the World Series on October 19th.

One half of Steel Magnolia is entering rehab.  Joshua Scott Jones announced he is entering rehab for alcohol and substance abuse via the duo’s website.  If you recall, his singing partner and fiancé, Meghan Linsey , announced the cancellation of many shows because Josh was unable to perform.

Kellie Pickler appearing on “Ellen” Tuesday October 4th.  Hopefully she is a little more popular than Luke Bryan.  Apparently, Luke acted out a skit with Ellen this week and didn’t show off very good acting skills.  However, his shirt nearly came off so that was very exciting.  Back to Kellie, she’s going to perform her song, “Tough” live.  And probably talk about her upcoming acting debut on “90210.”
