I am jealous of those getting married. Not so much those who are older and getting married, but the younger people. I just found out a former coworker who's 28 is getting married. I know I should have considered this when I was younger and there were marriageable men. Now I find myself 40 and still single, with the only potential a 43 with issues who just doesn't treat me well.

Until the last few years marriage wasn't something I wanted. I was content dating and having a career. Now, I worry I'll never find anyone. I have been told I should "lower my standards" but can not do that. I don't want to be a step mom. I might consider dating a guy who's been divorced, but I know I'd be insanely jealous if he had a large wedding and I couldn't handle that. There are still some never married 40 year old guys, but so many have issues or just want to have sex.

Is there hope for me?

The "Daily Dilemma" on the Sean and Richie Show is featured every weekday morning at 6:40am. We and the listeners take on someone's problems and try to offer different perspectives. Now, these don't have to be huge problems- it could just be something bothering you or a friend, or it could be some little thing you and another just can't agree on. If you have a dilemma to share we'd love to hear it just e-mail us here at the show.
