Is A Relationship With Your Total Opposite Better in the Long Run? – Daily Dilemma [AUDIO]
Here is the daily dilemma for Friday, January 20, 2012:
"My boyfriend and I have been going out for two years. We love each other, but I'll admit right here - you've never heard fighting until you've heard us! We live in Clifton Park, and at nite, I bet you can hear us on the Northway. This relationship reminds me of my last boyfriend. We were the same way. We were done in a year. I don't hold too much hope for this either, although we are ENGAGED! (How insane am I?)
I blame my love life on my parents. They' ve always told me that opposites attract. Yea, that might be true, but I don't think that means it guarantees any kind of long term future. What about your listeners? Who's doing better out there - couples who are very much alike or "complete opposite" who are probably screaming at each other as we speak? Just wondering."
Are you married? Do you find that a relationship with someone who shares the exact same interests as you has been more successful or a relationship with someone who is a complete opposite? Leave your comment at the bottom of this page.
