Today on the show we read a story about a woman who got arrested for making her 10 year old son walk to school after he got kicked off the bus for bad behavior for the 5th time. We got talking about how it seems today the kids seem to be a little "soft", that we never would have gotten away with as much as they do.

I know that a lot of people have different opinions about kids today and discipline so I thought I'd give you a scenario and you tell me how you would handle it.

Here we go: The school  calls you to tell you your 12 year old son has gotten in trouble for bullying a classmate and then talking back to the teacher. Let's say he tripped one of the smaller kids in the hall to get a laugh out of his friends. He is suspended for two days because of the school's policy on bullying. However, this is pretty much the first time he has been in trouble with the school.

How do you handle the situation when you go to the school to pick him up, and what do you say or do to him when you get home? I'd love to know truthfully how you would handle it, just let me know in the comments section at the bottom of this page.

God Bless.
