Pippy - Dachshund & Corgi Mix • Adult • Female • 20 lbs
Hi there, my name is Pippi and I'm a 20 pound dachshund mix. I'm about four years old and house trained. I don't mind the crate but I have a hard time when you leave me alone at home. I really love my peoples, so it would be great if you were home more or take me with you for the day. I like to play with dogs but I absolutely CANNOT be around kitties. My foster mom feels I am such a sweet girl who is very loving, but she does feel I can be sensitive to harsh movements, so it may take a little time for me to feel safe. I'm waiting for a loving, kind, sweet family to bring me home, maybe that could be you.
Boone - Labrador Retriever Mix • Senior • Male • approx 60 lbs
Hi there, my name is Boone and I’m one very classy guy. Unfortunately, my story isn't so classy. I was found as a stray a couple of years ago and the nice folks at Homeward Bound took me in. I was quickly adopted but then returned a year later. After just a couple of weeks, I was adopted again and now another year later I’m being returned. Just so you know neither of those returns had anything to do with me. In both incidences, my adopters were unable to keep me due to other circumstances. My interim foster mom says I’m a sweet soul and one of the best dogs out there and even though I’m a bit older (probably between 8 – 10 years), I’m still full of energy and have a zest for life. Not only that, I’m handsome, social, smart and very well mannered! All I am looking for is someone who will adopt me and remain just as loyal and committed to me in my golden years as I will be to them.
