George Strait Is A Grandpa

Country Music Hall of Famer George Strait is now a 'Grandpa.' The 59 year-old consistent hitmaker is currently on the charts with 'Love's Gonna Make It' and on a big national tour with Martina McBride.  Just when you think he's done it all, the legend can now add one more accomplishment to his long list.

George's son, Bubba, and wife Tamara welcomed their first child on Thursday, February 2, 2012.  George made the announcement after singing the emotional hit 'I Saw God Today' Friday night in Arizona: "Yesterday, my son just had his new baby!"

George Strait's family also got a little bit bigger recently when he adopted a new golden retriever puppy named Jammer.
