Back to school can be really expensive and for a lot of students, that means not having everything they need when they head into the classroom. One local business is trying to help solve the problem by offering free school supplies this week.

Trustco Bank put out a press release today to let everyone know they will be giving out free school supplies at several of their locations this week.

According to the press release, supplies will be available:

August 28, 2018 - Central Avenue Branch, 40 Central Ave. Albany, NY 12206

August 29, 2018 - Kington Branch, 1220 Ulster Ave. Kington, NY 12401

August 30, 2018 - Troy Branch, 5th Avenue and State St. Troy, NY 12180

August 31, 2018 - Sheridan Plaza Branch, 1350 Gerling Street, Schenectady, NY 12308

Students in need can get a backpack, folder, notebook, glue stick, pencil, pen, crayons and a pencil box.

It's always good to see a local business getting involved in the community and with all the back to school supplies that are on the required lists these days, it great to be able to take some of that burden away. If you or someone you know needs a little help getting school supplies this year, this seems like a great opportunity.
