Expect Packages on Sundays During The Holidays

To keep up with the demand of the holiday season, the United States Postal Service announced that they will now be delivering packages seven days a week. In an effort to help with the rush of packages and mail during the busiest time of year, the USPS is going to be delivering on Sundays. The postal service takes pride in delivering everything from amazon, toys and even from family members and they want to make sure you get them for the holidays.

The USPS is asking for customers and residents to be more aware. Now that there will be Sunday deliveries, they ask to make sure you have your dogs secured and you watch out for vehicles and mail carriers. Also to keep porch lights on because they will also be working later hours.

More than 800 million packages will be delivered across the country this holiday by the USPS. It's now seven days a week and extra hours for mail carriers.
