Eric Church’s “Homeboy” a New Song That Hits Home (Video)
As I read the news about the American military commitment in Libya as part of the coalition, I am finding myself proud of our U.S. Armed Services. I always have been and always will be.
Recently my small hometown of Fort Ann, NY buried one of our own who served the Navy and lost his life in duty. I saw a huge homecoming ceremony in the Midwest on Fox News a few mornings ago. I saw a daughter cry, and a wife and mother cry with joy that their loved ones were home safe.
They put it on the line for us every day. Eric Church’s new song “Homeboy” is about the men and women, sons and daughters, mothers and fathers who serve us in the military. Eric simply says , “Come on home boy”.
It’s a simple message in a powerful song.
