Mike Eli and James Young are the two members of the Eli Young Band that combined their last names to give a name to their collective talents.

The hard work and never give up attitude of this Texas based band could not be denied forerver. Last year when they hit it big the "boom" could be heard from sea to shining sea. The song was "Crazy Girl" and the result was the first #1 hit for the Eli Young Band who record their music for Republic Nashville, a division of Big Machine Records.
