Just getting back from Nashville from all the pomp and cirtcumstance that surround CMA Awards week I find myself thinking about the rich heritage of country music in Music City.

There are huge stars in country music today from Keith Urban and Brad Paisley to Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton and many more. All of these stars got into country music for one reason only. The were fans of the past legends of the industry that many people can't remember or have never heard of.

Names like Waylon Jennings, George Jones, Conway Twitty,Webb Pierce, Hank Williams, and even Elvis Presley. If you ever go to Nashville make sure you visit the Country Music Hall of Fame. The memories of the legends and true fathers and mothers of country music come alive. It is the most enriching stop a real country music fan can ever make.
