In 2011, GNA presented a check to Bobby Kendall of Lake George for $5,000.  Kendall sang Lee Brice's 'Love Like Crazy' and Zac Brown Band's 'Colder Weather', and in the end, impressed the judges and won the cash!

GNA launched the 2012 season of Country Idol Karaoke at Vapor in Saratoga Casino and Raceway in January. Now, it's time for round two on Thursday, February 23!

If you want to get on the big stage and show everyone what you've got, you can pre-register at wgna.com or do it in person between 7 and 8pm. Five singers will be picked from the advance on-line registration and 15 singers will be picked in person at vapor. Unlike amateur bar karaoke, Vapor boasts a state-of-the-art sound system and contestants are only able to pick Top 40 Country Hits, past or present, guaranteeing that fans will hear music that they know and love.

If you don't get picked to sing this month, you can try again on Thursday, March 22, April 26, and May 24 (with the finals on June 21).

Last year, the finals were broadcast on LOOK-TV.  If you missed it, check it out by clicking here.
