If you're looking for a fun summer road trip, consider loading up the car and heading down I-87 or hopping the train to New York City on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012 as Carrie Underwood is confirmed to perform on ‘The Today Show’ Summer Concert Series at Rockefeller Center.

According to Taste of Country, ‘The Today Show’ Summer Concert Series usually take place on Fridays – Zac Brown Band performed a few weeks ago, while Kenny Chesney did earlier this summer. But the program’s producers have planned a full week of outdoor shows following the 2012 Summer Olympics and they’ve recruited Underwood for a special Wednesday morning set, that will include her current hit 'Blown Away.'
