BUDDY: Lab / Shepard mix (we know mom was a lab mix). Ten years young. Buddy was one of the pups of "Keeper", the dog who was the reason for Keeper Rescue being formed! He was returned to rescue after almost 8 years because his family had to move due to job loss and could not take Buddy. We have had him 2 1/2 years now! His vet work is all current and he appears to be very healthy and a young 10 years old ! He loves to go for walks and to McDonald's for a burger. He has a quirky, fun personality and is well behaved. He is not good with other animals so he needs a home where he is the only pet. He is a bit shy at first with people but after a cookie and a handshake he's fine. He is a runner so we need a home where he will not be able to take off. One of our volunteers has been taking him out on Sundays for a ride, walk and burger and thinks that he is a GREAT dog! If you want a sweet older man in your life, Buddy might just be the one. He is a great boy and deserves a home!

JENNIE: Chocolate Lab. DOB 11/2007. This sweetie pie was turned over to rescue due to some serious family issues. She has a wonderful personality and is is extremely affectionate. She just melts your heart! Jennie rides very well in the car (loves the drive-thru window at McDonald's) and does pretty well on a leash. She did live with other dogs and we have found that she is OK with some dogs but does not like other dogs who get in her face or are too playful (a calm dog is OK). She has been fully vetted and has a clean bill of health. She is a bit skinny but is on a good diet and is putting some weight on. Jennie is very smart as well. Her photo does not do her justice but she was such a wiggler when we were trying to take pictures!

If you are interested in Jennie please contact Keeper Rescue at keeperrescue@gmail.com and tell us a bit about yourself and where you live. This little lady would be a wonderful companion.
