Albany Issues Snow Emergency Tonight

Starting at 8pm, Albany will be kicking off a snow emergency to expedite snow cleanup in the city.

If you live downtown, get ready to move your car! According to Spectrum News the Albany Snow Emergency will require you move your car to the even side of the street by 8pm.

As the cleanup from Stella continues, the city is going to bring in dump trucks to haul alot of the snow out. Extra salt trucks and plows will also be coming in from surrounding areas to assist with the cleanup effort.

On Thursday night, residents will have to move their car to the odd side of the street.

Ah, the joys of heavy snowfall. It has nowhere to go downtown!  Good luck digging out if you live in Albany - and don't worry, it will all melt soon.
