According to a story in the Times Union, they asked her if he had any weapons. That’s when she allegedly told them that he had an unregistered handgun that he kept in a dresser drawer.

Albany Police found a High-Point 9 m.m. pistol and a magazine loaded with several rounds of ammunition in Mathieu Primeau's dresser drawer. Primeau didn’t have a permit for the gun. He was home when they did the search. Albany police arrested him and he was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, which is a misdemeanor. I wonder if this guy had anything else hidden.
