Two Great Cats – Steve Caporizzo’s Pet Connection
If you missed Pet Connection Today on the Sean and Richie Show, here is another chance for you to take a look at a couple of great pets up for adoption. Let’s take a look at the pets featured today. Tune in every Thursday at 7:20am to hear the stories of two incredible (and adoptable!) pets.
Flower is 3.5 years old and came to Purrfect Companions as an abandoned cat in Guilderland. She is a very loving little lady with a beautiful black and white coat. She has been fixed and vetted, as all of our cats have been, and is ready for her new family. She is gentle (I have not seen her show aggression towards anyone, human or feline), very cuddly and tolerant of small children/moderate noise. She is perfectly fine with other cats and is willing to share her family with other kitties. We do not know how she would do with a dog, but seems to be tolerant of them.
Woofie was found at a feeding station with ferals, but was obviously a former pet. He was brought to the shelter and taken to a vet, who neutered and tested him for illness. He was determined to be between 1.5 and 2 years old and, sadly, tested positive for FIV. This only means that he must be either an only cat or with another FIV positive cat. He is a big kitty with a big personality, loving attention from everyone and wanting to be pet as much as possible. He does not seem to have any issues with other cats, though contact has been minimal due to FIV. We do not know how he would do with dogs, but I believe that he would do well with younger children as he does love to be pet and fawned over and is a very easy-going boy.
