GE in Schenectady, New York has already been in the news for welcoming President Obama last summer, as featured on '60 Minutes.'  Now, Schenectady's General Electric plant will be featured in a 45 second commerical during the Super Bowl.

The national ad features Schenectady employees building steam turbines, which are used by Anheuser-Busch to brew beer.  The spot was filmed in the Electric City and at Wolf's 1-11 bar on Wolf Rd. in Colonie.

GE Thermal Products President and CEO Paul Browning told YNN, "We want people to know that our employees are powering the world. A very practical example of this, and a great fit for a Super Bowl commercial, is brewing and refrigerating beer. GE turbine technology is a vital part of powering the production of recognizable products and services around the globe, and thousands of employees in Schenectady make it possible.”
