Mark Wills has recorded some big hits. When he began his career in 1996, his first hit song reached number 6 on the country charts, called “Jacob’s Ladder.” A few of his other hits that I‘m sure you know are “Don’t Laugh At Me,” “Wish You Were Here” and “I Do (Cherish You),” which had a pop version done by the boy band 98 Degrees. Another one of his songs, “Back At One,” was a cover of a pop hit by Brian McKnight. He won the award for “Top New Male Vocalist,” in 1998, at the Academy Of Country Music awards.

He has also done some movie stuff, like voicing the character of Huckleberry Finn in the MGM remake of the animated version of “Tom Sawyer.”

In celebration of Mark’s birthday, I thought I would celebrate with you, with one of his most popular and biggest hit, “19 Somethin’.” I just think this is such a fun song .

So we wish a very happy birthday to Mark Wills. Which Mark Wills song is your favorite?
