Long Commutes Can Kill You – Really

The Swedes, have just results the findings of a massive study they did about long commutes to and from work and the findings aren’t good my friends.

The first question is “How long is a long commute”? The answer seems to be over 20 minutes a day. They found that in marriages where one of the people have to commute over 45 minutes one way that the divorce rate is 40% higher!

Not to mention stress, obesity, lack of exercise, and poor life satisfaction too. Why? If you’re driving all the time an 8 hour work day turns into 10 hours, and the effect snowballs. So the next time you’re sitting at the Twin Bridges swearing under your breath think about this story, all the details are here. Happy commuting!
