"Back In The Saddle is a strong collection of songs that run the gamut from hard rockin' AC/DC inspired country rock and fiddle and steel guitar-drenched ballads that prove that a man can comeback from some time off with the best album of their career." -Matt Bjorke, Roughstock

"Layered harmonies flow over a unique chorus-verse-chorus-bridge progression with stirring images that Chris pulls off confidently. Chris sounds refreshed and strong on Back in the Saddle, and fans will find that this album is worth the wait." -Daryl Addison, GAC

"He’s a different man now, and it shows in his music. His voice is flawless, he sounds better than he ever has before. Cagle has found peace in himself and on his horse farm in Oklahoma." -Judy Core, Country Music Is Love

"With his song ‘Got My Country On,’ Chris Cagle makes an smooth transition into a new style that still fits under his white cowboy hat. It’s been a few years since his loyal fans have heard new music from the ‘What Kinda Gone’ singer. This song may be the year’s strongest effort from a singer attempting a comeback." -Billy Dukes, Taste of Country
