What This Father Of The Bride Did To Her Stepfather At The Wedding Leaves Makes Everyone Cry

This story has been going viral on the internet  today and rightfully so. It actually amazes me that this is something that so rarely happens that so many are so shocked that it happened. Yet I am so glad that it did. Having witnessed first hand how hard being a step parent can be, this truly warms my heart today.

Delia D Blackburn is a professional wedding photographer in Ohio and she is the one who shared the story a couple of nights ago that has now been seen by well over a million people and shared by over half of them.

In her post of a few of the wedding photos she wrote: Grab tissues... because you will need it as you look through these pictures. Todd Bachman, father of the bride, brought his daughter to the beginning of the aisle...he stopped the procession while people were confused at his actions and he walked up to his daughter's stepfather. Todd reached out his hand and grabbed Brittany's stepfather and pulled him down the aisle to walk their daughter down the aisle together. NOT A DRY EYE at the ceremony..including me! Families are what we make them...make it about your kids and not your ego. Congratulations Todd Bachman on showing your kids what true love really is...love for your children. The most amazing thing about this story may be that these two men have been at odds for years, making this amazing gesture even more heart warming. NO wonder there wasn't a dry eye in the place.
