'Ya Gotta Believe' was a slogan that New York Mets fans clung onto 50 years ago this summer. Famous Mets' reliever Tug McGraw, father of country music star Tim McGraw, coined the phrase during the Amazin's improbable run to the World Series in 1973.

Country Super Star Tim McGraw turns 46 today but I am willing to bet you would guess this fitness nut is far younger. In honor of his big day here are a few of my favorite Time McGraw songs.

I love it when the son or daughter of a major sports star tries their hand at singing professionally.  Especially when they try country music.  Football legend Terry Bradshaw's daugher is the latest to give it a try.
