Not all heroes wear capes, do they?  Less than a minute into this heartwarming video, those words are overheard in a conversation between a Rotterdam homeowner and another man laying flat on his stomach, attempting to save all eight of a mother duck's babies trapped in a sewer basin.

They say cats are the ones with 9 lives, but here's one dog that may have 90 . This is truly an amazing story of a miracle dog struck by a car on Monday in Albany, who somehow survived a 45-minute drive to Rotterdam trapped inside the bumper.

Pinned underneath his single wide trailer and battling for his life, a Schoharie County man is recovering at Albany Medical Center today as he had been trapped for as many as four hours last night. Thoughts and prayers are with his family this morning as the notion of this is simply terrifying.  How did this happen?
