Rob McClanaghan always seemed like a go-getter. He was a walk-on for Jim Boeheim at Syracuse and later took his learned skills to becoming a trainer for some of the NBA’s biggest stars. Now McClanaghan is being accused of a horrific crime that allegedly occurred at a Boston hotel last week.

Saturday's Kentucky Derby will be interesting to watch for people in the Capital Region. Not only is it the biggest horserace of the season, but there are a couple of local ties to the "Run For The Roses". One is a horse and the other is a trainer.

Another meet has ended at the Saratoga Race Course and another record has been set by a Mechanicville native. Being from Mechanicville, we couldn't be prouder of one of our own.
