Ronnie Toler, a 66 year old veteran passed away last month in Dickson Tennessee. His service was not completely clear but it was known that he served overseas in the 70's and received a National Defense Service Medal. The rehab center where he was however could not find any family for Ronnie in the area so a local funeral home stepped up to make sure he had a proper burial with full military honor

A homeless mother in Kansas was caught stealing $300 worth of stuff from Walmart last Monday. When the police were called it was officer Mark Engravalle who responded. He of course did his job and issued the woman a citation but it wasn't as simple as that for Mark.

Everyday on The Sean and Richie Show we have a feature at about 8:10 a.m. called, "The Good News." Our way of just reminding ourselves and you that there really are good people still left in this world, and stories that are worth sharing. Today we talked about a video that has gone viral of a dad dancing with his daughter at a beauty pageant.

If you missed "The Good News" on the Sean and Richie Show today, it really was inspiring. It goes to show that no matter what struggles you face in life, even at birth you CAN overcome. These two girls not only survived what most babies do not, they have taken the blessing and miracle of their lives very seriously and have not wasted a moment.

The "Good News" is featured everyday  on the Sean and Richie Show at about 8:10 am, hopefully you tune in each morning for a little dose of inspiration in a very cynical world. If you happened to miss it today, we did a "good" story about something that is usually chock full of angst, social media.

This is just amazing. I think at one point or another, most of us have been where this woman was just a week or so ago. Penny Pompa, a woman with four children living in Monroe, Connecticut had fallen on some pretty hard times. She had contracted Lyme disease and as a result had a lot of debt mounting from medical bills, and she was just about to lose her house.

This was our "Good News" feature on today's show and I think it is one of the most touching. There are so many different angles to this story, but I would be remiss if I didn't mention first the message that this man's daughter was trying to convey when she posted this video, talk to and enjoy your parents while you still can. that in itself is a pretty powerful message.
