A major department store is trying to capitalize on the closing of Babies R Us. The store has locations in and around the areas of where Babies R Us stores have closed so they are banking on the customers from those shuttered stores.

The "Greater Trade-In Event" starts this weekend at two major retailers. It allows customers to turn in used baby gear to get new gear at a discount. There is also an incentive to donate kids clothing to needy families too.

It is always good to keep up to date with recalls especially when it comes to our kids. There was a recall of a major brand of stroller that was sold at most retailers across the country.
