You can now purchase stamps that honor the hard-working military dogs. They are the latest stamps that have been released by the United States Postal Service.
There are many ways we honor people, places and things. One of the ways is through United States postage stamps. This time they are honoring our canine heroes.
The United States Postal Service has issued a stamp celebrating the Arlington Green Bridge which is just over the border in Bennington County, Vermont. The bridge was built in 1852 and is located just off of Vermont Route 313. With this stamp, the USPS has chosen one of the most photographed covered bridges in Vermont!
With all the news about closing branches of the United States Post Office, it’s nice to get a little sidetracked with a some fun news. Usually we hear about how dogs try to attack mail delivery people, but this was not the case.
Last year, the U.S. Postal Service ordered 3-million stamps to be printed. You might remember these stamps -- they featured the Statue of Liberty and went on sale December 1st as did the flag stamps.
