You always hear how the internet is a nasty breeding ground for bullying.  I'm about to show you a couple of places that does the exact opposite - resources that you can use if you are either a victim or the parent of someone who may be bullied

We have all kinds of special things planned on the Sean, Richie and Bethany Show, including a replay of some special kids throwing their support for the cause (musically)  on Bullying Awareness Week.

Albany County District Attorney David Soares and Dr. Phil Fusco from the Academy For Character Education at the Sage Colleges were special guests on this past edition of Capital Region Sunday to discuss a crucial societal problem: Bullying. They also have an incredible new "WORDS" initiative that they would like to introduce.  Hear the re-broadcast below

It's always good to reinforce good character traits with kids.  This little appearance was no exception. It means a lot that they keep having me back at Griswold Heights Community Center in Troy.  Want to hear their song?  I knew you would!

This might be the perfect anti bullying anthem.  It's creative, short and to the point.  Listen closely to the brilliant lyrics created by the kids from Stillwater Elementary.

Always a rewarding experience visiting the Griswold Heights Community Center in association with the Troy Housing Authority and the Academy for Character Education.  These kids love this country and they are ready to sing about it!

I had a fantastic time once again with Mrs. Burns and Mrs Wilcox at the Carroll Hill Elementary School.  These kids wrote a song parody in record time!

Are you an educator, or parent looking to learn more about school safety and students' mental health?  In these trying times, you need an advocate in that area.  Sage College to the rescue again.

I've been yelled at by several people close to me for not mentioning this, but I didn't want to come off as "patting myself on the back." I am really proud of it, and humbled by it, so I guess it's time. Please excuse me for bragging….

Why?  Can someone tell me WHY bullying has continued in such a big way?  When you hear this boy's story, it will stop you in your tracks.

This is heartbreaking. Florida teenager Rebecca Sedwick committed suicide over an alleged bullying incident. She jumped off a silo according to CNN.com.  She would have been 13. Her mother posted a birthday message on Facebook that she would like you to read.

This started out as a four-county anti-bullying song, where one school would write one verse, the next one in another county would contribute another etc.  Well, it looks like I just couldn't stop at four. Then again, why would you? Let's spread the word to as many schools as possible, right?
