There's a group called the Albany Riverfront Collective that is leading the charge to reimagine the Albany riverfront area.

Troy’s City Hall used to be on the waterfront at 1 Monument Square. After it was decided that the building was in need of some major repairs, City Hall took up residence in the former Verizon Building on Sixth Avenue in 2009.
