Restaurant Closing

An Albany restaurant with a famous past is the latest in a string of Capital Region closings.

After a total of nearly ten years in business, a popular Asian restaurant is closing its doors for good this weekend. But even though the restaurant won't exist, they have plans to serve the public in a different way and in a different Capital Region city.

After 14 years, an almost Food Network reinvention, and more, LT's Grill will be handed over to another Schenectady restauranteur with a new concept idea.

I live in Schenectady and pass by this restaurant all of the time. I've wanted to try it out but for whatever reason never did. Now, it's closing.

It's always strange to me how restaurants, especially big restaurants like this, close out of nowhere. Well, all of a sudden today, one of Crossgates Mall's most famous restaurants announced they'll no longer be open.
