Saturday was my very first Countryfest and I had a blast! From meeting the incredible artists, then hearing them perform, but most importantly meeting a ton of listeners who couldn't have been nicer!

To say I'm tired right now is an understatement. This weekend was full of excitement and lots of work, but it all closed with one hell of a night, as tour opener, Dustin Lynch may have put it.

When I interviewed Phillip of Little Big Town on Friday, I made sure to tell him this would be my first LBT experience and I couldn't believe his genuine excitement for me to see the show! Well, it turns out he was right to be excited because it was amazing!

When the weather became a little bit frightful and we were trying to be as safe as possible while keeping people informed yet entertained, things got a little weird.

I made a list and checked it twice the evening before the big day. I couldn't forget any of the essentials: phone charger, a brush, an extra pair of clothes, a sharpie, my inhaler for the moment that Charles Kelley inevitably steals my breath away...ya know, essentials.

The 45th Annual CMA Awards were Wednesday Night and it was a big party from the get go with Blake Shelton and Kenny Loggins opening the show with "Footloose".
