Reba McEntire recently got bad news that her show Malibu Country will not be renewed after just one season on ABC.

Over the last year it seems that Country Music singers have been popping up all over television. In addition to the usual musical guest appearances on talk shows, Country Music singers have become a big part of prime time television shows and reality competitions.

Reba fans are enjoying the cutting edge comedy on Friday nights with her ABC show Malibu Country. The show already features comedy legend Lily Tomlin, but Reba reveals that she'd like even more of her showbiz friends to join her on the set.

We can’t imagine Reba McEntire speaking with anything but a sweet southern drawl. But as it turns out, the iconic country star would love to try out a British accent for producers of ‘Downton Abbey.’ McEntire recently spilled that snagging a role on the hit PBS drama would be a dream come true for her.
