After hearing the news that Dale Earnhardt Jr. is retiring, I reflected on the one and only experience I had at an actual NASCAR race. As an avid sports fan, but never a racing fan, I truly had a blast.

When it comes to race horses in Saratoga, health and wellness is very important to New York State, and will be a bigger focus in 2017.

The Racing Hall of Fame located on the Avenue of The Pines in Saratoga announced they will be doing something new to fund an upcoming renovation, and it's pretty cool.

Having spent some time in Lake Havasu, Arizona, I personally know how exciting Jet ski racing can be. I know if you make it out to the Sport Island Pub on June 4th you too will enjoy an exciting day of personal watercraft racing and some wild freestyle exhibitions.

I can't even describe this.  The video doesn't do it total justice, but I tried like hell to give you the same thrill I got!

With all the crazy weather surrounding the Daytona 500, I didn't hear very much about the National Anthem during the Nationwide race on Saturday night.  It kind of surprised me, considering it was one of the most unique versions I've ever heard...

It was fun because we took my father-in-law, Warren.  It was short because it was probably the hottest day of the year.  But none of us regretted it, because it's an annual tradition to go to the Saratoga Race track.  Here are a few shots from Saturday, August 4th:

I’ll Have Another will not run at the 144th Belmont Stakes on Saturday. The horse, who was vying to become the first Triple Crown winner since Affirmed in 1978, was ruled out by his trainer Doug O’Neill, who spoke about the matter on ‘The Dan Patrick Show’ on radio Friday morning.

Nascar always observes the Easter holiday and will be off. Next Saturday the Sprint Cup chase continues on Saturday night under the lights at Texas Motor Speedway.

It was a tragedy today at Las Vegas Motor Speedway as driver Dan Wheldon was killed a fiery 15 car wreck, that some drivers said was the worst wreck they had ever seen.
