After this public pool was closed early last summer because it was unsafe, the state poured millions of dollars into making sure it would be fixed by this summer. They kept their word and now you can enjoy this state park pool for the season.

When I think of my childhood, I think of taking walks to Central Park and playing on the playground. I think of chasing the ducks past Iroquois Lake, running up and down the hill. Imagine my surprise when I went to the playground and there was nothing there.

As the weather starts getting warmer and the swim suits are broken out, it's time to figure out which beach in the area is the best one.

Summer is officially over, but this week it's going to be REALLY hot and this is something you can build with just a few key pieces. I have to thank the Mayor of my hometown of Gloversville, N.Y. for putting this up on his facebook page. It truly is amazing how talented out children can be and prodigies come to us in all sorts of ways, music, art, sports and yes even billiards.

With the weather we’ve been having, I know a lot of people are think about warmer weather, and can’t wait for it. In my hometown of Colonie, I know that our town park and pool is a great place to bring the family on a beautiful summer day, and I can't imagine how sad it would make people (including me) if it had to close.
