Carnival Cruise Line reminds Massachusetts and New York residents of an age policy when sailing on their ships.

Over the weekend we went out to dinner with another family at Peddler's Bar & Bistro in Clifton Park. Before we reached for the menu, I noticed an interesting-looking "flyer" on the table. It was a message to those ordering alcoholic beverages while dining with their families.

Davidson's Brothers Restaurant in Glen's Falls was one of the first restaurants in the Capital Region to start a no-tipping policy at their restaurant. And as of January, they have reversed it.  According to the Chronicle, the owner says this market isn't ready for such a policy...
