This whole story is fantastic and keeps getting better.  Days after Cincinatti Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton led a Cincinnati comeback over the Baltimore Ravens, propelling the Bills into the playoffs for the first time in 17 years, the lovefest continues between #BillsMafia and their new hero QB.

When Shaker grad Tommy Kahnle was drafted by the Yankees in 2010 it was a dream come true for the local flamethrowing pitcher.  Last night, he was called upon to prevent a Bronx nightmare from happening when he entered the game in the 8th inning, the lead in jeopardy, and the Yankee season on the line.   Latham, New York stand up!! Your hometown boy was filthy last night.

While the Yankee win last night was quite satisfying, there was nothing enjoyable about the top of the 6th inning.  That's when Bronx Bomber catcher Gary Sanchez got drilled right in the jewels by a foul ball he couldn't hang on to.  It was a painful night even though the Yanks won the game.  However I feel like we all may have died a little on the inside when Gary had a moment, that was quite sca

Our boys are on their way to the Calder Cup Playoffs!

The New York Giants were the only road team to win in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs this weekend. Meanwhile, San Francisco and New England won the right to host their conference’s championship game next Sunday. Here’s a recap of all of this weekend’s NFL action:

I am not afraid to admit I am not a die hard sports enthuasist.  I don't sit in front of the tv every time my team tosses a ball.  I don't catch every play that is completed.  However, I did grow up in a household where we were loyal to two teams through thick and thin.  And of those years, there were more thick times than thin.  Until now -- at least for one team.

I certainly took a hit with my predictions from last week, going 1-3 thanks only  to a win by the Packers (sorry Sean). So let's see if i can redeem myself this week.
