We are fortunate enough in the Albany, NY area to have a plethora of parks to enjoy. If you need some outdoor time other than the weekends, here are some great parks to spend your lunch break at.
Sometimes you just have to put the laptop down, turn off the iPhone, and get your butts outside and enjoy the weather. I had to tell myself this recently. So I immediately packed up my laptop and iPhone and took a solo excursion to a local park. I was pleasantly surprised at what I saw (right in Schenectady) and wanted to pass it on to you.
Ever been there? It's a great little park. Little? Did I say little? It's actually huuuuuuge! I happened to have some time to kill the other day, and I certainly found the best place to kill it: The Crossings. So with i-Phone in hand, I took some quick shots:
The greater Albany area has some impressive landmarks and the diversity of those landmarks is largely driven by the fact that this area was one of the first settled in North America. We polled our staff and many of them responded with the same handful of places over and over again - those of course are toward the top of the list
