If I'm being totally honest, things got off to a bit of a slow start today.  Much like a car in the dead of winter we had to hit the ignition on the monologue a few times before it actually rumbled into life. I think once we got it going though there were a couple of laughs to be had. Let's see what we made fun of today on the "Sean and Richie Show".

I'm not gonna lie to ya, this is a day late. My apologies for not getting the monologue posted yesterday. I know that 3 or 4 of you actually like to log on and listen. I thought about just not posting it at all but it turns out , I like a couple of the jokes, especially the last one...

Weird Sean and Richie Show today, kind of all over the place. I guess I should have seen it coming because we started with such an odd monologue. Let's see what we covered today.

You would think I wouldn't find a way to tie Osama Bin Laden in with Snooki, you would be wrong. Let's take a look at the things we covered in the monologue today on The Sean and Richie Show.

Who says morning radio doesn't have it's pressures?  I get in this morning, bleary eyed from a long weekend in Florida, and my morning show cohorts challenged me to take the theme song "Welcome Back, Kotter" and make the subject matter about the recent demise of Osama Bin Laden.  Well guys-BRING IT ON!

There are not many things that overshadow just about everything else. The news that Osama Bin Laden had finally been found and killed however is one of those things.  I have to admit when I got to work this morning , I considered not doing a monologue at all but then I figured, why not?  It's not like the news is sad.

First off I want to say how proud I am to be an American. Getting to wake up in this beautiful country is the greatest privlege a person can ask for. When I saw the news last night about the death of Osama Bin Laden, I couldn't be more proud of our servicemen and women risking their lives to help keep this country free.

It's all known now. The death of Osama Bin Laden. After, just about 10 years, the most hated man in America is finally gone.

I'm sure at some point you will be tired of hearing about Osama but before you are, take a second and process the whole "where you were and how good it is to know one less evil person is alive". Today on the "View From The Couch" I walk memory lane a little...

In a stunning development, President Barack Obama confirmed late Sunday evening that Osama bin Laden, the leader of terrorist group Al-Qaeda responsible for the Sept. 11 attacks, was killed Sunday in Pakistan. Obama made the announcement in a televised address shortly after 11:30 PM ET, about an hour after reports of bin Laden's death had made their way onto the Internet.

Once again someone has given classified military documents to Wikileaks. The latest incident involves over 700 pages of classified military information.
