Traffic is closed on the Northway following a bus crash and police have confirmed one fatality in the accident. The bus was transporting the St. Michael's College Lacrosse team to a game in Long Island when the accident occurred.
These people at the Adirondack Corvette Club LOVE their cars. The only thing they're not thrilled about is having them parked on the Twin Bridges due to road construction. I tried to ease their pain (and now possibly yours) with a little "construction sing-along". Enjoy!

I drive the Northway up and back to work everyday, and I am baffled by one thing almost daily.
The Northway is exactly 3 lanes wide North and Southbound, up to and including over the Twin Bridges. Why the hell can people maintain the speed limit up to and over them in the morning an afternoon commute
A project to replace the bridge carrying Route 9p over I-87 will be causing some delays on the Northway this week. The original plans to close lanes on the Northway by Exit 14 will be delayed, however, a day due to the weather. The work will involve closing all northbound lanes at four different points during the night.
I have always wondered why there was never an exit 3 on I-87, better know as the Adirondack Northway. As we drive up and down the Northway, we get to that part of the highway between Central Avenue and Albany-Shaker Road in Colonie.
