Flame off? After Fantastic Four’s hugely disappointing opening earlier this year, Fox initially claimed they were still moving ahead with a sequel, keeping the planned June 9, 2017 release date. But, after a closer look at the situation and perhaps a good dose of common sense, Fox has removed Fantastic Four 2 from their release schedule.

As an Oregon Duck fan, there wasn't much to enjoy about the National Championship game last night. I did, however, enjoy one thing a great deal and I wasn't even expecting it: the new trailer for "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

Just last night, Marvel announced that the trailer would debut following next week's new episode of 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' and tonight a pirated version found its way online. Marvel Studios and the character of Tony Stark/Iron Man transformed Robert Downey Jr. from a has-been into one of the biggest movie stars on the planet, so it's not surprising that he'll sing their praises outside the context of the movies he stars in. However, he recently took it a big step further, declaring 'Guardians of the Galaxy' to be the best Marvel movie yet. Yep, even the ones that he's not in.

The idea behind 'Big Hero 6,' Walt Disney's first animated Marvel movie since they acquired the home of The Avengers, is an exciting prospect, one that we've been tracking for some time. While the full cast is still to be announced, today brings our first look at this new team of superheroes through unofficial movie posters.

(Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Logistics Directorate) and Agent Coulson who's death motivated the Avengers to stop Loki and the alien invasion. Some how Coulson is back and S.I.E.L.D. now has it's own TV show on ABC.

Ever since Disney bought Marvel they have been knocking it out of the park with Super Hero movies! The more I see of Hugh Jackman in "The Wolverine" the more I think they're about to do it again.

'Thor 2,' dubbed 'The Dark World,' will see Chris Hemsworth return as Marvel's mighty God of Thunder to crush some new foes with his hammer, and the first trailer is said to drop next week on April 23 (according to the film's international Facebook page). In anticipation, Marvel has unleashed the first poster, and though it doesn't reveal much, it's definitely got our geek juices flowing. Read Mor

While "The Avengers" continues to do great in the box office, many geeks like myself are hoping the next installment will happen sooner then later. So anything to tide us over is a welcome distraction. I'm happy to share a video game that might do just that, "Avengers: Battle for Earth".
