When I got married at the tender age of 21, the only thing I had to my name was a beat up Pontiac Sunfire, with no stereo system or air conditioning, and a giant pile of student loans, and he had even less than that!  So, needless to say, we didn't really need to worry much about a prenup...

I'll take this public opportunity to take a deep look at my marriage and see how my list of complaints about my husband matches up with Redbook.com's list of most common wifely complaints. I'm gonna bet that he has more complaints about me than I do about him...

Leah Remini did an interview on Friday night where she talked about her break with the Church of Scientology. She said that her relationship with the church/cult took a turn at the Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes wedding. Leah was a guest, but it ended up being a pretty awful experience...

I'm totally guilty of just expecting my husband to do things and be there for me, sometimes with very little appreciation.  So, while I'm not sure this study has the absolute answer to lifelong marital bliss, I can totally get where they're coming from!

I love this story, mostly because I know that at just about every wedding that has ever happened (as long as they are not related) people always take pictures of the ring bearer and flower girl and say, "Awww they are so cute , imagine if they actually got married to each other one day?" I majored in education in college. Dorrie studied English. We've been married 29 years, so it seems to have worked out fairly well, I would say.  Let's see what college majors are the most and least compatible, because I know you were dying for this information (?).

With the news today that Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert filing for divorce, it made me wonder about all celebrity marriages.  And then I jumped immediately to the differences between celebrity marriages and "civilian" marriages.
