Crossgates Mall, Aviation Mall, Colonie Center, Stuyvesant Plaza, and Clifton Park Center are just of a few of the many shopping malls and outlets we have here in the Capital Region.  While this list is certainly debatable (and surely bound to annoy a few) a recent survey ranked 25 of the very best that upstate New York has to offer.  Three local malls not only made the list, but were in the top 1

Growing up in Albany, we always went to the mall. Whether it was Colonie Center or Northway Mall (remember that one) or Crossgates, there were always stores to go into at the mall.

It seems like stores are closing left and right these days. Whether it's due to heavier online shopping, high costs in rent or a bump in minimum wage, it's taking its toll on our local malls. In the last couple of months

I didn't give myself the nickname of "best gift giver," but I have been called it. I'll admit, it is true that I have a knack of finding the "perfect" items for people. Some call it luck, but that's not what it is. Not at all.

You probably don't think about it. Howie Mandell would though.  (He's a well known germiphobic).  I'm not, but maybe you are, so I thought I'd let you know where they're located in your local mall(not the germiphobes-the germs)

Guilderland - Multiple families that rent homes owned by Crossgates Mall, are packing their things in boxes if they haven’t already done so.

I can't say that I actually mind shopping malls in short doses.  But I have to be able to exit really quickly.  It's not claustrophobia, it's COSTrophobia.  I can spend my whole salary in an hour if you let me.  So I'd never be caught DEAD in these big honkin' structures...

It's been nice not having to shovel, or brush off the car 22 times a day, this weekend.
