local heroes

Every year, the local chapter of the American Red Cross holds a breakfast to honor those in our community who we consider to be heroes. Now they need your help to nominate these individuals for this year's honor breakfast.

I honestly believe we can never do enough to acknowledge the good that people do in this life, especially when all we ever hear about in the media, and even now, in social media is the bad.

People helping people. Neighbors helping neighbors. It is something that doesn't happen enough in today's world of extreme individualism and social media. Luckily, some Schenectady heroes still know it pays off to help your neighbors, or in this case save their lives in the process.
