Here's what to be looking for with a new phone scam that is targeting potential jurors in New York State.

About a month ago, I got a letter from the Commission of Jurors at the Albany County Judicial Center and I thought for sure I was being summoned for jury duty. It turned out to be a website I was instructed to go to and fill out a questionnaire about myself to serve on a future jury. I thought then that they were just gathering information and it would be a while until I had to serve. I was wrong.

Jury duty is our civic duty (whether we like it or not), but according to a new bill passed earlier this week, breastfeeding women will have an exemption period.

It seems every time we turn around there is another scam. There is one that is circulating through the Capital Region claiming they are from a local sheriff's office and you own money in fines.
