There are few stars as big as Johnny Depp. So anytime he has a movie set to be released it's pretty big news. I am too young to remember the original "Dark Shadows" I had very little interest in the remake back in 1991. I sadly admit you add Johnny Depp and Tim Burton and my interest is peaked.

"Dark Shadows" Is the new Tim Burton movie starring who else but Johnny Depp as "Barnabas Collins" a vampire from a Gothic soap opera by the same name from 1966-1971. I have to admit, this one has me curious. I think I will check it out.

Only two stops in The Trailer Park this week and one of them is a limited release. "21 Jump Street" jumps to the big screen with Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill while Will Ferrell speaks Spanish in "Casa De Mi Padre".

Turns out the world will end the same day "The Lone Ranger" is released. December, 21, 2012. That's the day the Mayan Calendar predicts the end of days. So let's hope the new Lone Ranger movie starring Armie Hammer and Johnny Depp as Tonto will be worthy of the last movie your living mind ever watches...

You would expect to see your favorite movie stars in the Hollywood Wax Museum or some place similar.  Maybe at Universal Studios, Florida.  That would make sense.   But cities are now commemorating their favorite movie stars by putting statues up--like Robocop in Detroit.  And you think THAT'S strange?
