John King

As both a singer and a songwriter, John King says that he finds satisfaction in recording his own songs and hearing others sing his tunes as well. However, the biggest benefit to both writing songs and going after a career as a solo artist is that one helps with the other.

Country singer John King was involved in a fatal car accident while traveling to a show last Saturday (Aug. 16).

At the Sean & Richie Golf Tournament, we were able to do a REALLY cool thing for John King! I have to tell you, it's the young up and coming artists that I really do enjoy being around. They just LOVE the music and the fans and are just happy to be part of it all.

Give up?  Well, you'll probably never guess, so let me tell you. (This is my own analysis, by the way, but stick with me)

Richie has found a new best friend, and he's country singer John King!

It's these little moments that make it all worthwhile, getting an artist in the studio and joking around musically with them. This guy was REALLY into it, which helps. I see a big star in the making, BTW.

Country newcomer John King dropped by the WGNA studio this morning to join "The Sean & Richie Show" and answer listeners' questions and perform a song with Richie!
