There are some top-shelf teachers in the Capital Region. I think I've visited all of the elementary instructors in my 20 years of doing this program. When you look up "top-shelf" in the dictionary though, Jamie Pink's photo will definitely be there! Here's another example of a great song that came out of her classroom.

The crusade against bullying continues, and there's no grade level too low to expose them to the evils of brutally picking on each other.  Mrs. Pink's class at Jefferson Elementary School in Schenectady will now perform do their anti-bullying parody song

To quote a famous politician: "It takes a village to run a school." (Ok, I added the "school" part). Well there's a lady at Jefferson Elementary School in the Schalmont system who helps keep a certain little village running smoothly every day, and was honored the other night.

I feel like a kid myself here. I'm getting more and more excited about how this is turning out! It's a song that schools in four different Capital Region counties are helping to create. The message?  DON'T BE A BULLY. The school helping out this week?  Jefferson Elementary in Schenectady County.
