Every year when the National Toy Hall of Fame announces their nominees, I get a bit nostalgic. This year is no exception. There are twelve finalists that include My Little Pony. Here's how you can vote for the inductees.

An all-time great Yankee and now Hall of Famer, Derek Jeter had a nice little run playing ball right in our backyard. I got chills when I saw this cool picture (possibly as a teenager) of the Captain wearing an AC Yankees jersey with 'Albany' proudly stitched across the chest.

Every time I hand my son Brody a little baseball bat, he makes believe it's a guitar. So for his second birthday (which was on Saturday) we decided to get him a $20 kids guitar and he literally won't won't put it down!  Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure he's going to become the next great guitar prodigy and here's the reason why:

The Racing Hall of Fame located on the Avenue of The Pines in Saratoga announced they will be doing something new to fund an upcoming renovation, and it's pretty cool.

Tuesday night kicked off the NBA season and while I know plenty of Football fans, I'm a huge fan of Basketball. I couldn't wait for tip off and getting back into the heat of the game.

I honestly believe we can never do enough to acknowledge the good that people do in this life, especially when all we ever hear about in the media, and even now, in social media is the bad.

She used to go there when she was a little girl and dream of someday  being big enough to have an exhibit, and now, the MIRANDA LAMBERT exhibit in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum opens tomorrow in Nashville! For Miranda, it's a dream come true...

Only 2 players were voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame earlier today and unfortunately one of them wasn't Yankee great Don Mattingly.

Even though Nashville, Tennessee, aka Music City, is where most people think of when they think of country music, but there is somewhere else to think about.
