I never thought this is something that could happen, thankfully everyone involved is okay. An accident happened in Grafton earlier today that split apart a pick-up truck!

The Capital Region is a great place to live but sometimes we get stuck in our routines. We see the same places, eat the same food, and you may have missed some of the hidden things the area has to offer.

We are very lucky to be in an area surrounded by beauty and fun things within driving distance! Whether you wanna go to a big city like Manhattan or Boston, or you wanna do something a little more specific like Cooperstown for the Baseball Hall of Fame, Harpursville for the Animal Adventure Park or Verona for Turning Stone Casino we have plenty to do within the area. As the weather starts getting warmer and the swim suits are broken out, it's time to figure out which beach in the area is the best one.

This was a big challenge.  I mean, why do people climb Mount Everest?  Because it's THERE, that's why.  So I climbed my own mountain.  I wanted to see if I could do a 20 song medley of Your Town Thursday songs.   I hope you like it.

It took a little bit of coaxing to get the information, but we now have closure.  Grafton, NY has now been added to the growing list of songs for YOUR TOWN THURSDAY!

The Reading Writing and Rhyming Tour this week made a special "whistle stop".  This was the first of the summer camp appearances, and certainly not the last.  Many of these summer camps that I go to take place in regular classrooms.  Nothing wrong with that, but to actually be outside singing in the Grafton State Park with the Hope 7 kids? Nothing like it!
